Senior Developer

You will be responsible for interpreting business requirements and delivering high quality, reliable solutions which meet and exceed customer expectations. You will also be supporting existing Ecommerce software for our varied range of clients.

Skills

bulletJavaScript.
bulletFamiliarity with modern frameworks, in particular React.js
bulletExperience using Gulp or Webpack preferred.
bulletKnowledge of Node.js useful, especially React.js server-side.

Frontend

bulletUp-to-date knowledge of HTML essential.
bulletExperience using LESS, SASS or similar preferred.

PHP

bulletKnowledge of MVC frameworks essential, in particular Laravel.
bulletExperience creating and consuming REST APIs.
bulletFamiliarity with automated testing useful.

Other

bulletFamiliarity with Git essential.
bulletBasic knowledge of Linux command line essential.
bulletExperience using Amazon AWS useful.
bulletExposure to Docker useful.

You'll be working within an innovative and passionate team, and there'll be lots of room for personal development. We work closely with our clients to provide the best possible solutions, and you'll have the chance to use cutting edge tools and technologies in your role. You’ll take responsibility for the manual testing of in-house software development projects. This is a pivotal role in the growth of our business, as you’ll be the gatekeeper for quality, and ensuring that the development is robust and fit for purpose.

Roles & Responsibilities

bulletTesting design, working with IT and business owners to create a test schedule.
bulletFamiliarity with modern frameworks, in particular React.js.
bulletPlanning and scheduling of own time to meet release deadlines.
bulletTesting software releases.
bulletProviding detailed descriptions of bugs, including recreation instructions.
bulletKeeping an up to date test case record for each system.
bulletContributing to team knowledge sharing activities.
bulletYou’ll need a pro-active ‘can do ’attitude to your work.
The software tester will also manage a major project to take the company to an automated testing framework. You’ll be able to help the management team to develop a robust test strategy that you’ll have full ownership of. Knowledge of various automation testing tools is therefore a requirement.
